In this kind of weather, a reliable and excellent working humidifier is a necessity. Aside from the comfort it gives, the health benefit of it is far more important especially during the winter season.
Personally, I prefer to use cool mist humidifier as it offers more advantages compared to the warm ones. It’s safer to use and operate as it doesn’t need to raise the water temperature in the tank; it is energy efficient and can cover more area or space compared to warm mist humidifiers.
I am using Honeywell HUT-220 Easy-to-Care Cool Mist Humidifier in our room. It’s an easy-to-care cool mist humidifier that is easy to operate. It was designed with a top-fill reservoir thus making it more convenient to use. It’s very easy to refill, and it doesn’t leak at all.
Using it is very straightforward. You can fill it up with 1 gallon (can hold up to 1.3 gallons) of water and could run as for 46 hours on a single fill. It has a refill indicator with automatic safety shut-off which is really useful, and some parts of it are dishwasher-safe, so maintenance and cleaning up is not a problem.
The evaporation rate can be adjusted with its mist adjustment knob. At its lowest setting, it takes around 36 hours to empty the tank and less than 24 hours when at its highest. It produces a calm, quiet sound which for me is quite soothing and relaxing especially at night.
The Honeywell Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifier has a continuous water circulation system that ensures fresh and clean moisture at your room. It’s very basic and easy to use, no fuss or frills and works the way it was designed to. Overall, I am pretty impressed with it!
Also, the Honeywell Top Fill Cool Mist Humidifier is way safer to use, more versatile and cost-efficient compared to other humidifiers I’ve tried in the past. It’s totally a good investment to have during the winter months.
